First Day Instructions

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the ski school, or are new to skiing, please take this information with you on your first day (Saturday or Sunday). LEAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO REACH FLUMSERBERG!

This Google Maps Location can be used to get exact directions from anywhere

On the snow by the Flumserberg Skischule signs at 9:35, complete with appropriate clothing and equipment, and lift passes (if necessary)

Absolute beginners do NOT require lift passes.

Regarding children please check with Flumserberg Skischule.

Transport: Options

1) Drive all the way to the parking at Tannenbodenalp (1400m)

Chains obligatory in bad weather

2) Drive to the cable car base station in Unterterzen, and take the high speed gondola up to Tannenbodenalp 

Obligatory option if car parks on the mountain are already full

3) Train to Unterterzen, connecting high speed gondola to Tannenbodenalp 

If the Unterterzen gondola is closed due to bad weather you would need to connect to Flums, from where you will be able to get a Post Bus up to Tannenbodenalp 

4) Train to Flums, connecting Post Bus up to Tannenbodenalp
